- ACEA A5/B5 relates to gasoline and diesel engine cars at extended service intervals with additional Fuel Economy benefits
- ACEA C2 relates to diesel cars fitted with Diesel Particulate Filters that provides additional Fuel Economy.
- ACEA C3 relates to diesel cars fitted with Diesel Particulate Filters.
- ACEA Other If A2/B2 is required use A3/B3 or A3/B4, if C1 is required, C2 may be used
- API Other if SG,SH or SJ is required use SL
- API SL/CF relates to gasoline & diesel passenger cars.

- VW 501 01/505 00 is for many older VW cars on standard drain intervals.
