Vanellus Max Drain Eco 10W-40 is a low SAPS diesel engine oil.
What is it for?
It is designed specifically for use in Euro 4 & Euro 5 engines fitted with exhaust emission control systems. The low SAPS (Sulphated Ash, Phosphorus, Sulphur) formulation protects engine emission after-treatment systems such as diesel particulate filters (DPFs).
Some manufacturers specify low SAPS oils for use in their Euro 4 vehicles to prevent damage to the DPF.
Vanellus Max Drain Eco 10W-40 is approved for use at maximum oil drain intervals in Euro 4 engines.

- ACEA E6 for heavy duty vehicles fitted with SCR (Selective Catalyst Reduction), EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) or DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) for extended drain intervals (Low SAPS).
Truck Manufacturer Specifications
It is also approved against the following original equipment manufacturers specifications:
Mercedes Benz MB approval 228.51 for 2005 Euro 4 truck engines and after (with DPF) with very long service intervals.
MAN M3477 for engines requiring low saps oil and designed for up to and including Euro 4 & 5 vehicles and for extended drains.
