To view an unprecedented representation of British art through the ages all in one location, then the BP British Art Displays are a must-see. We provide access for millions of people to see, enjoy and learn from a wonderful, ever-changing selection of the gallery's exceptional collection of art works from 1500 to the present day. Arranged in broad chronological order, within this, individual rooms explore particular themes or show one artist in depth. Our support enables the gallery's permanent collection to be rotated on an annual basis, allowing a rich variety of paintings to be seen which might otherwise be in store for years.
